We are pleased to release a new mobile app to compliment the MeshScope web site, giving fast and easy access to view the status of the Meshtastic network in your area. The MeshScope app, available first in the Google Play store, will show you nearby nodes and information, and gives the same quick filtering options as the main web site. For somebody on the move, the mobile app may be a faster easier way to check nearby nodes.

As a reminder, MeshScope is not using a local Meshtastic radio and instead receives data from the global Meshtastic MQTT network. If a node isn't picked up or published onto this broker, it will not be visible on MeshScope. Additionally, if a node publishes on a private encrypted channel, MeshScope will not have access to the information. So MeshScope will show publicly broadcasted nodes, whether on the web or on the app.
